While looking through the Essence backer document, I was a bit disappointed that there were so few high-end charms for late-game characters. Obviously most campaigns won't ever get to that level, but I figured having such and not needing them would be better than none at all. Thus, I have created some (and in the process of creating more) charms that require great degrees of Essence. The goal in the end is that every Ability will have a charm for Essence 3, 4 and 5. Here's what I have thus far.

Completed Abilities: Close Combat, Sagacity, Stealth

In-progress: Athletics

Next on the chopping block: Ranged Combat, Physique

Nice! Only got to skim it, but I like what I see so far. Look forward to seeing what else you come up with.

Thanks for the compliment! It's obviously still in development, but progress has been pretty steady, I hope to be able to show you everything when its complete!

With the exception of War (because I have no clue how to do that sort of thing, and the rules for it are in one ear and out the other for me), I have completed this little project! All Abilities (again with the exception of War), now have 3 Charms, one for Essence 3, 4 and 5 (and in some cases more!) which can be used by all Exalts. It honestly surprised me how quickly this little project went along, but I guess Essence charms are easier to create and organize than say 3e charms. Now, some of the charms in this little homebrew could use some more modes and balancing criticisms are always welcome! If you want to tell me these things, comment either here or on the document about what you'd like to see. In any case, thank you to those who have checked the doc out, and I hope to hear your comments sometime in the future.

Decided to go back to this project to add a few things. A lot of the charms got additional modes to round out the roster, since many were missing entries (like Liminals and Alchemicals.) Not all of them have been added yet, and I still don't have any War charms yet because I really don't know what to do there, but it's still more than there used to be.

Added a section for Elder Charms. Rather than actually create such things, I made it easier on myself by making them Elder *Modes*, which require Essence 6+ and which provide a few benefits to make the charm more powerful. You get (Essence - 5) Elder Modes free, and can spend Minor Milestones to obtain more, just like if you were buying a new charm.

Solars, Abyssals and Infernals can instead learn Elder Modes for spells, and Sidereals and Getimians can do the same for Martial Arts. Still debating on what to do with the other Exalt types.
